WHAT DOES THE COURSE COVER?

How to prepare for the delivery of coaching activities.

How to deliver prepared activities of the coaching sessions.

How to evaluate the effectiveness of coaching activities.

Help you gain knowledge and understanding of:

  • safe and ethical coaching practice
  • methods to develop participants’ performance and enjoyment
  • adapting coaching practice to meet participants’ needs, their abilities and stages of development
  • the methods to evaluate coaching activities and reflect on personal coaching
  • the basic rules of the game - contact, movement and dribbling

DURATION

The Level 1 course is structured over a minimum period of 16 hours, usually spread over evening sessions or weekends. (14 hours instruction, 2 hours home study)

ASSESSMENT

Candidates will be assessed by the course tutor on a minimum of one 15 minute coaching session. Candidates will also be expected to pass a 30 minute multiple choice / short answer paper.(Independently assessed)

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

£75.00 per person*

*This fee is 50% of the usual course fee of £150.00 per person.
