Helping businesses become community champions

As part of the Foundations drive to get the North East ready for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games, we are looking to partner with local businesses from across the region to create a legacy that will make the North East a beacon of sporting success for many years to come.

Our corporate membership schemes entitled “Tony Blair Sports Foundation for Business” will see companies encouraging staff to become volunteer sports coaches and officials.

When North East businesses sign up to my Sports Foundation’s new scheme, their employees will have the opportunity to volunteer as sports coaches and officials, and in the process they will open up sport to even more young people in their local communities.” Tony Blair

There are two TBSF for Business schemes available; a ‘Friends’ and a ‘Corporate’ scheme which are suitable for any business wanting to gain value from CSR activity.

As well as the benefits that come with a sustainable community engagement programme, both schemes offer access to high profile PR, invitations to events and access to best practice groups in the region.
