Become a member

You can become a member of the Tony Blair Sports Foundation if you are over 16 years of age and want to become a qualified sports coach or official and volunteer with us to get more young people participating in sport.
We will help you gain accredited coaching qualifications through subsidised national governing body sports courses in the eight sports we currently support: athletics, basketball, canoeing, cricket, cycling, football, rowing and tennis.
As a member of the Foundation you will have access to the support not only of your chosen sport’s governing body but the Foundation as a whole. You will receive exclusive invitations to events, assistance in finding a suitable voluntary placement where necessary, invitations to volunteer opportunities across the region, a membership pack full of ‘goodies’ when you complete your course, the opportunity to become a community ambassador, and the option to extend your qualification through our commitment to your personal development.
“Working with the Foundation and my club I have set myself some clear targets; to get more athletics coaches working in our local schools and to bring the schools and clubs closer together, therefore increasing the number of junior athletes across the region. All of this would be much harder to do without the help and support of the Tony Blair Sports Foundation.” John Renney TBSF Athletics Coach
